SEO Road-Trip Blog Writer

Job ID: 39745030

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m building a library of road-trip articles aimed at travellers who only have a weekend to spare, and I need a strong writer who can blend solid on-page SEO with vivid, fact-checked storytelling. Every post must feel fully human—no AI tools behind the scenes—and read smoothly with flawless grammar.

The core brief
• Focus: short weekend drives that highlight local hotspots and famous landmarks within easy reach of a major city. Hidden gems may come up naturally, but they’re not our primary target right now.
• Voice: informative and detailed. Think practical guidance (routes, distances, costs, parking tips) wrapped in engaging narratives that make readers want to pack the car immediately.
• SEO: you’ll weave primary and secondary keywords, craft an enticing SEO title and meta description, structure headings logically (H1-H3), and suggest internal/external links that improve authority and dwell time.
• Originality: all copy must clear Copyscape and a human-writing detector. I also run it through Grammarly, so clean prose is essential.

Scope & cadence
This is a long-term, salary-based role rather than a one-off gig. Expect a steady flow of briefs—roughly eight in-depth posts per month to start—with room to scale once we’ve nailed the workflow. I supply the destination list, target keywords, and any brand guidelines; you return a polished, publication-ready draft in Google Docs, complete with one-sentence social snippets and ALT text suggestions for imagery.

How we’ll start
If your background checks the boxes, I’ll send a brief for a single paid trial post so we can confirm fit. From there we transition into the ongoing schedule.

Drop me a few links to relevant travel pieces you’ve written, along with a quick note on the SEO tools or frameworks you prefer (Surfer, Yoast, manual research, etc.). I’m ready to move quickly and would love to have our first article live by next month.
