On Tap Publishing is hiring a results-driven SEO Content Writer/Editor / SEO Content Manager to lead content managment strategy across a portfolio of editorial sites including Mantelligence, The Beer Connoisseur, and Live Music Blog.
This is a senior-level role ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience in SEO-driven content writing, editorial leadership, and freelance team management. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing content strategies, optimizing existing articles, assigning freelance work, and driving traffic and revenue through SEO and backlink initiatives.
Requirements:
Excellent writing capacity
Strong editorial and SEO background
Experience managing freelance writers and budgets
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Ability to oversee and grow a content portfolio that performs with Raptive or similar ad networks
Preferred:
-Experience in lifestyle, music, or beverage content creation
-WordPress and digital publishing knowledge
-Background in backlink strategy or digital PR
Start with a 3-month training period. Then transition to a performance-based compensation model tied to advertising revenue. You’ll have the opportunity to grow into a director-level leadership role managing multiple editors.
