What we're looking for We are looking for an English writer who can write original articles weekly (about two bi-weekly), research the topic or artist, and compose an interesting story.
Topics will be centered around music, culture, and the LGBTQ+ community. You will create catchy headlines and draw the reader into the piece. What You'll Do -Write and Research a topic or artist that will be provided (all music-related).
Articles will range from topic points to interview write-ups. Depending on the article type, it can range from 500-600 words.
What You'll Bring
-Experience in writing articles for blogs
-Excellent grammar and spelling
-Gay-friendly, open-minded attitude is a must-have. There will be zero tolerance for any homophobia
-A passion for music (a plus) -Upbeat "let's do this" attitude What We are -We are a specialized Dance/EDM internet station looking to expand our "news" and "article" coverage.
-Our audience comes from a mixture of demographics and ages, including a significant portion from the LGBTQ+ community and the PLUR community,

Things to keep in mind -If we are a good match, we'll do a paid trial piece with a 2-day turnaround on an assigned topic.
-After the trial period, the expected turn-around will be 1 week from the assignment
-The proposed budget is a per article budget; articles will be given in groups of two ($15 each - total $30)
