Microsoft Azure
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a project (web app) which already uses OAuth2 to allow users to log in with a Google account and grant access to their calendar(s); based on this, the app reads and creates calendar events as needed (the project is a calendaring app). I need to add support for Microsoft account login and accessing Microsoft account calendars, so the project needs to use OAuth2 to access Microsoft Calendar API. For this it seems I have set up an azure tenancy with Azure AD B2C so people with an outlook.com account for example can log in.
For clarity: the webapp is already hosted in AWS and this will NOT change. I do NOT want to HOST anything in Azure, instead I need to REGISTER and application in Microsoft Azure and use the credentials generated for that application in my existing webapp to be able to allow "login with microsoft".
I need help with 2 things:
* verifying and setting up the Azure B2C tenancy with the correct APIs access so the app can read and write calendar events
* heping with registering the web appp with Azure cloud: Google has a process for registering and authorizing apps which need to use user account details and access to APIs like calendar, I am guessing Azure is the same and will need help with that
* help with coding in Java to access the calendar and events
You will have to be very knowledgeable in Azure cloud and Java, especially in a Spring Boot environment and working with OAuth2.
A lot of the code for the project is already in place, so for the work we will do a mix of zoom sessions (with screen sharing), slack and granting you access to repos in Github. I will need you to be available for discussions mornings (8-11am) Central Time and evenings (8pm-12pm) Central Time and sometimes during the day.
