Manage email e-zine
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are looking for a part-time person either remotely or in our Signal Hill, CA, Distribution Center. This person will be cross-trained, but will primarily be responsible for a monthly Mail Chimp newsletter production and implementing social media strategies.
Responsibilities and Duties
Collaborate with volunteers to assemble a monthly e-zine newsletter that will be sent out to about 20,000 email addresses.
Will be required to learn how to use Slack to coordinate and discuss article submission, editing, and proofing with members of the organization.
Will need to know how to use Mail Chimp software proficiently and have the ability to do occasional graphic editing.
Should have college level grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. skills.
Prior experience working in email campaigns will be a plus.
Social media account management and marketing knowledge also a plus and may lead to more hours being worked.
Qualifications
College level courses or Associates Degree, a plus
Core Competencies
Experience in creating Mail Chimp campaigns, managing email lists, and working effectively with others.
Excellent communication skills.
Social media account setup and management
Familiarity with non-profits a plus.
