We need multiple sports writers who aren't afraid to learn something new.
About the Role
We are looking for sports writers who love sports and can cover the NFL, NBA, and MLB.
If you only have a certain sport that is an area of expertise, that is ok as well.
Topics will be given by the managing editor.
Consistent daily work.
Flexibility in your work schedule.
About the Content
The articles will be short-form and you will be required to write (16) articles of 250 words each in a 4-hour timeframe. 6 days of work required. Some weekends may be required.
All content is to be well researched and include relevant contextual outbound links when it makes sense to do so.
Examples and high-level outlines and training will be provided.
Articles are to be written in a professional tone with no fluff.
Tons of exciting content. There's always something new to work on, so no enormous orders of boring content to trudge through.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Can be flexible and does not miss deadlines
Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
Is dependable
Is a native English speaker
Is tech-savvy (understands MS Word, Google Drive, can take screenshots if necessary, etc.)
Compensation:
Our rate is $312 per week or $1248 per month, so a combination of skills and speed is a must.
Writers must be willing to learn and grow with feedback from Editors.
