Law & Social Issues Scriptwriter
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I run a YouTube channel out of Thoothukudi that analyses current affairs through a legal lens, with special emphasis on social-issue stories that matter to everyday citizens. I’m looking for someone who can craft clear, well-structured scripts in a consistently formal tone—think courtroom precision rather than casual commentary—while still keeping the narrative engaging enough for viewers who may not have a legal background.
What you’ll do
• Pick up the weekly topic I provide (always rooted in current affairs, legal developments or landmark social issues)
• Research credible statutes, case law, news reports and government data to back every argument
• Shape the findings into a YouTube-ready script of roughly 6–8 minutes, complete with suggested hooks, section transitions and a concise call-to-action
• Deliver the final draft in Google Docs, with sources cited and timestamps marked so my production team can overlay visuals smoothly
Acceptance criteria
• Tone remains formal throughout; no slang or comedic detours
• Facts are up-to-date and verifiable, with citations linked or footnoted
• Flow holds viewers’ attention while respecting legal accuracy and neutrality
If you have a solid grasp of Indian legal frameworks, care about social justice narratives and can translate complex material into viewer-friendly language, I’d love to see a sample of your work and discuss our first script.
