Journalist needed for simple straight news story
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a simple news story for a proof-of-concept website targeted at students of a local university campus. This project will pay $50 flat rate.
The assignment is to obtain a statement from the university athletics director about his department's intentions to pursue a fee increase and then to obtain reactions from the student body president and student leaders in the student senate. I will provide contact info and an example of what format I'd like the article to look like.
I can also provide example texts of how to solicit a request for comment from the university and from student leaders. In addition to this, I will also provide a fact sheet with links to primary sources so you can provide some context in your article. Again, this is a very simple straight news story.
I will publish the finished product news article to my proof-of-concept website, Bell Tower Press, at https://belltowerpress.wordpress.com/.
