SYNOPSIS OF SITUATION:

The situation started when a server/group called ddazai started in June 2024. This group of people talked about and did insanely problematic things, there was four specific members of this group that were very bad—these people also had social media platforms that range from 20k-100k followers on TikTok and YouTube. The server rivaled with AABSD (the people I’m reaching out for) because they disliked the fact they were a larger group than them, ddazai and AABSD shared a lot of members, which led to them talking ill of AABSD. AABSD found out and went to investigate, leading to them finding things such as child porn, mentions of topics that shouldn’t be mentioned, and so much more being distributed in the group. (Once again, the people’s actions aren’t the focus of this article).

In August, AABSD had made a public announcement that they wouldn’t be associated or supporting ddazai and if you were in ddazai you can’t be in AABSD. which led to ddazai getting angry and deleting their server. In October 2024, it was discovered that the members hadn’t stop being weird and doing problematic things. A first document exposing them was made, being handled serious and maturely, but it didn’t get enough traction. AABSD gave up for a short time period, but in February 2025, they decided to reassess how they handled the situation after finding out a member of ddazai was caught abusing and blackmailing (whom which the victim reached out to an AABSD member, named Ran stating they were being blackmailed).

Later, AABSD started on a second doc targeted towards the creators with a platform who were using their fame to their advantage. This time after learning from the last, made a post that was portrayed as “unserious” so people would give them their attention. This led to people sending rape threats, death threats, and so many more worse things to AABSD—some even started saying “The creators didn’t do anything wrong”. AABSD was framed as insensitive because “It’s insensitive to the victims” despite AABSD the group, being made up of the victims. It led to people focusing on how AABSD was desperate for help rather than what the creators did. In the end, it still worked, but at the cost of AABSD being sent death threats every hour, and social media acting as if it was ok for the creators to say such weird things because they were “mentally ill and teenagers”.

Due to people getting upset and taking their anger out on AABSD, people went and spam reported, even though AABSD’s videos followed TikTok’s terms of service and didn’t get taken down. If the video did get taken down, it was appealed and approved. Now, this caused AABSD to get banned. All because they called out someone who shouldn’t have a platform. The problematic creators spoke up about the situation, posting less censored, far worse videos than AABSD, yet they didn’t get banned. That’s the issue. TikTok cannot see why someone may be posting sensitive content, or what spam reporting is. The article should focus on how people took the callout, resorting to sending death threats and threatening the victims for standing up.
