Humorous Script/Ghost Writer for Children’s Book

I'm in need of an imaginative and humorous script writer to enhance my book series aimed at children aged 9-12, primarily those growing up in Western contexts. The stories are pretty much complete, I would like to add more oomph to them with a but more action and humour. They are set in modern times, and revolve around ordinary kids who become super heroes in their own unexpected and funny way, with lots of quirky moments and adventures along the way. I am particularly fond of the clever, creative humor that comes from wordplay and non-insulting sarcasm in movies such as:
- The Flash
- Mitchels Vs the Machines
- The Super Mario Bros Movie
- Spider-Man/Spiderverse movie Part 1

The ideal freelancer for this project would:

- Be experienced in creating engaging, funny content for children aged 9-12.
- Have a good understanding and appreciation of wordplay/non-insulting sarcasm and slapstick humour.
- Have a strong grasp of modern day settings and themes that resonate with Western children. Understanding Islamic/Arab culture is a bonus but not essential.
- Be able to offer original ideas that and contribute to the developmental process of the series.
