History of the Kurdish People and how the Realist's Perspective explains their problem and how to solve it
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The “Nation” and “State” issue is common in global affairs and frankly is the source of most of the conflicts in the 20th and now 21st century. Choose one of the conflicts below and write at least a 5 to 7 page paper on the situation (more pages if you like to impress). Please use a Word or PDF file when posting your paper to the course, 12 point, double spaced. Include a bibliography of sources cited, but it does not count in the page total. You may use any style for citations, but be consistent.
Chapter 5 can be very helpful for this assignment, especially the first part of the chapter. Read it!!
You must address EACH of the following:
A brief history and summary of the current situation.
Choose a theoretical school (like constructivists or any of the ones we have studied) and demonstrate how your chosen theory explains the problem.
THEN, utilize one of the theories to provide a policy solution. It can be the same theory you used in point 2 above, or it can be an entirely different theoretical school.
You do not have to “believe” in the school of thought, (you can if you want!) but what I want is a logical, solid argument/presentation.
Be sure to use spell-check, use good grammar, and cite all sources and include a bibliography (not counted as part of your 5 to 7 pages)!
If you use Wikipedia as a citation, you will be downgraded two full grades. Seriously… Do some original research
