Nowadays Hindu is doing arranged marriages in which parents select the boy and the girl has to marry that person the girl is not alow to go against her parents' choice. the parents don't even ask about there choice this is something that first makes physical relationship ( Sex) and then forces to love each other it is something like getting raped. but earlier Hindu practicing Love marriage ( प्रेम विवाह), Gandharva marriag ( गंधर्व विवाह ) & swayamvar

Arranged marriage comes in practice after the Mughal empire in India and it is similar to nikah ( Muslim Marriage) where they are not allowed to select their partner only the parents will decide.
We only want our parents to also look at our choice the boy that we have selected. we dont want to go against our parents. we only want please consider our choice and also do the research on the boy that we have selected and then make the choice. Because of the society that what the socity will going to say the parents are killing the happiness of their children. Don't think about their happiness.
