Health Care Sector Reporter - Liberty Financial News

Job ID: 35956598

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

We recently launched our website:
https://libertyfinancialnews.com/

We are seeking a journalist to write on health care, e.g. biotech, pharma, diagnostics, synthetics, etc.

You will report on innovation, trends, competition and other industry topics, but always from an equity perspective. Hence, an article must include quality industry analysis supporting insightful company comparisons and equity research.

You must be a native English speaker.

The articles will be posted in your LFN Profile Name on our website, and you can freely refer to the article links to promote yourself.

Base Pay

We operate with milestones of 10 articles each and pay $25 per published article. Ten days after each 10-article milestone is reached, we will pay $250. At the end of each milestone, we set up a new one if both parties wish to.

Bonus

LFN readers can star rate articles on our website. If an article posted in your LFN Profile Name receives at least 10 reader votes by the 10th day (at 09:00 UTC) after first posting, then a 4-star article will receive a $5 bonus and a 5-star article will receive a $10 bonus. Any post is considered a 5-star if the average vote score is 4.5 or higher and a 4-star if the score is between 3.5 and 4.4.
The bonus payment earned for each milestone is paid ten days after each milestone.
Thus, the minimum pay for a 10-article milestone is $250 (10 x $25), and the max pay is $350 (10 x $25 + 10 x $10).

Termination

The project will be ongoing until either party decides to terminate the work. If either party ends the job before reaching a milestone, LFN will still pay $25 for each article that has been published up to that point, but no bonus.

Requirements and Restrictions

Your reports must never represent financial advice. Never recommend that readers buy or sell any financial instruments! When you write about a listed company, you must disclose your holdings.

Articles must be between 1,000 and 2,000 words, except for earnings reports which should be about 500-600 words long. The article must include a headline (maximum 7 words) and an excerpt (maximum 25 words) and be organised with sub-headlines and paragraphs.

The articles must also comply with the LFN Terms & Conditions for appropriate content ("RoUE"). If your reports are found to include false statements of facts or content breaching third-party copyrights, you agree to refund LFN the payment for such articles. Your articles must be based on information from primary and open sources. You cannot copy content from news outlets or commercial data providers.

You must include the source links for all your facts at the end of the article, and all facts must be properly referenced, e.g. "CEO Soriot stated...".

We do not accept articles with content produced by AI text generators or scraping.

We only pay for articles that are published. If you submit an article and we decide not to publish it within ten days of submission, you are free to publish the article anywhere else.

Once published, LFN will retain full ownership of the article and all associated data. This means you cannot submit content you have published anywhere else and cannot use the content for publications anywhere else in the future.

You must check your articles in Grammarly before submitting them. LFN checks all submitted articles in Grammarly Premium and only accepts articles with at least a 90% overall score.

You must submit your report in an MS Word file. Images for your article should be in JPEG/JPG format. If you have a table or a chart for the article, you must email the Excel file with the data, and LFN will develop the image to comply with the LFN design style and image optimisation. If you provide an image from a third party, you must ensure it is open source and free to use on our website.

Communication by email.
