Your Role

We’re looking for a tech-forward writer/editor to join our team for FULL-TIME and REMOTE collaboration.
In this role, you’d be engaging with large language models such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other artificial intelligence tools to create news content and magnify the breadth and speed of our editorial coverage. The ideal candidate would have a thorough understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain, a fluent understanding of English grammar, and a grasp of historic events that have influenced the culture and development of the industry.
Your responsibilities include utilizing ChatGPT and other AI platforms for content output, but you will direct the prompting and the final editing and output.
What is Crypto Briefing?
Crypto Briefing was founded during the 2017 crypto-boom to highlight the builders and call out the scammers. We went on to raise $2 million in late 2018. From its origins in New York, Crypto Briefing has grown into a global news and research organization that spans every time zone. Now, Crypto Briefing and its research division SIMETRI (the opposite of ‘asymmetry’) aims to give retail investors the same privileged look into the markets that insiders have. We’ve
systematically evaluated hundreds of crypto projects to deliver profitable insights to our subscribers and continue to report on the emerging trends in the industry.
Qualifications
● At least a one-year involvement in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space.
● One to two years of professional writing or editing experience and a knack for explaining complex concepts simply.
● Familiarity engaging with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Bard, Dall-E, and Midjourney to rapidly draft and publish content.
● Ability to work independently and remotely with a portion of your availability during peak hours U.S. Eastern Time (somewhere between 8am — 6pm GMT-5)
Bonus Points
● A degree in journalism, finance, mathematics, computer science, or law.
● Prior experience working in media or research companies or high-growth startups.
● Skills in Python, R, or SQL for interacting with and interrogating on-chain data.
● Experience using Excel and Tableau to create attractive data visualizations.
● Domain knowledge of cryptocurrency, blockchain tech, DeFi, and smart contracts.
Salary: P50,000-P70,000 per month or higher(or depending on relevant years of experience)
Work Schedule: Hours are flexible, but they have to be able to work some hours in the evening as there are meetings with US office EST timezone.
