It builds consumer digital products that use Artificial Intelligence and patented algorithms to improve how people make personal financial decisions, with their credit cards, personal savings and help delete debt.
The Bright team has a strong background in Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences. The team was founded by Avi Patchava (former McKinsey, InMobi), Petko Platchkov (former McKinsey, CommuterClub founder), Varun Modi (former InMobi) and Alexander Seyfert (former Amazon, Yahoo). Bright has raised funding of $10m from 28 angel investors (incl. Naveen Tewari and Kunal Shah) between San Francisco and Bangalore, and 3 Venture Capitalist funds: Sequoia, Falcon Edge and Oakhouse partners.
The personal finance writing role at Bright is to product SEO optimized content for the company blog and drive organic traffic from search engines such as Google.
Financial writers are skilled wordsmiths experienced at distilling complex concepts and detailed information with ease and clarity. Whether gained academically or on the job, these writers often have a foundation in their subject matter, in our case, finance and technology.
The right candidate will be able to display domain knowledge, innovation in his/her writing and SEO opitimized content.
Responsibilities
- Writing high-quality articles following provided SEO requirements provided by the Head of Product Marketing
- Producing a minimum of 5 articles per week, 1,000 words each, and revising upon review by the editorial team, to build a repository of relevant articles
- Working with the Bright editorial team and Head of Product Marketing to produce pieces of content per week
Requirements
- At Least 6 months of finance and technical content writing experience, with samples of contributions to content platforms.
- Good command of the English language, with a tech or finance background, or pre-existing domain knowledge.
- Open to part-time/pay-per-article, work from home model
- Understanding of SEO and previous experience writing for SEO
