English, Story-writing / Crafting Help Needed for writing 1,200-1,600 word short-stories about self-defense.
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am looking for a skilled writer who can help me with my English-Language *Story-Writing* project.. I need someone who has experience in writing short-stories about self-defense, specifically for adults.
The stories should be short, 4 to 6 minute reads (1,200 to 1,600 words) and will each detail a single incident involving the following theme:
....Good people who were forced to defend themselves from criminal attacks... but who were then prosecuted.
**I will be giving you some actual stories from real life to serve as the jump-off points for your work.**
The ideal candidate should have a strong writing ability, a good emotional understanding of horror of a) being treated like a bad guy, b) being vilified by society, c) being thrown under the bus by the legal system, and d) not having a voice in the legal system .... all when the individual *knows* he or she acted appropriately given the criminal attack circumstances.
These stories need to be beyond the framework of simple news reports. They need to actually be emotional, gripping stories that are compelling and which engage the reader.
Additionally, the candidate should be familiar with the third-person perspective. I think Chat GPT might be able to help you here, but ONLY a solid writer will be able to turn out work that isn't garbage.
If you have experience in crafting short stories, have an in-depth knowledge of human nature and writing, and can write in the third-person perspective, then I encourage you to apply for this project.
SUCCESS CONDITIONS & WORKFLOW:
We will begin with writing one single story. I will pay by the hour. I will evaluate the quality of your work compared to how many hours / dollars it required. If the stories are GOOD and the pay appears fair (I think these would take me about 3 or 4 hours each), I will be happy to hire you for many more. Perhaps even dozens more, if you're really a good writer.
DUE DATE: I'd love to get the first story ASAP (end of day today would be amazing, tomorrow is okay; if given the go-ahead, I'd love to get 5 or 8 or more of them written by Tuesday May 2nd.
All generic proposals will be rejected immediately. Please begin your proposal with "I'm not a freelance spammer. I actually want to write good stories." If you do that, I will be thoroughly reading your proposal as well as the writing reference examples of your work that you share. **DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY PLAN ON DOING GOOD WORK. Believe me, it is NOT worth a bad review on your account. I will not be satisfied with Chinese GPT spam garbage.**
Thank you so much, and may Peace be with you,
PK
