Elementary ASD IEP Development Help

Job ID: 40618844

Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD

I work with elementary-aged children (6–10) who have Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental disabilities, and I need a fellow specialist to help craft high-quality Individualized Education Programs. The priority is embedding strong language-development strategies into each IEP, while still respecting behaviour supports and inclusive-classroom needs that may surface during planning.

Here’s how I see the collaboration:

• Review the student profiles, assessment reports, and goal-progress notes I will share.
• Draft clear, measurable IEP goals—especially in receptive/expressive language—along with accommodations, service minutes, and progress-monitoring tools.
• Suggest evidence-based interventions you’ve found successful (PECS, SCERTS, ABA, or others you can justify).
• Deliver three complete IEP documents in an editable format (Word or fillable PDF) plus a brief parent-coaching handout that links home routines to the language targets.

Acceptance criteria: goals in SMART format; strategies referenced to recognised best practice; language that teachers and parents can easily understand. A quick but thoughtful turnaround and transparent communication are essential.

If you have proven K-6 special-education experience and sample IEP sections you can share (redacted is fine), let’s team up and create plans that truly move the needle for these learners.
