Daily Current Events Podcast
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I'm seeking a podcast researcher and journalist for a daily news podcast focused on current events. The format will be top headlines of the day then background and history to catch people up who do not read the news often. Then and uplifting story for inspiration and hope. Hope to start by publishing twice a week and increase to three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and script current events
- Research and script story about the history and background information to understand the behind the scenes of let's say cabinet appointments, or the history of the votes in congress on that social issue or the statistics from a study.
- Ensure all information is thoroughly fact-checked and accurate.
Ideal skills and experience:
- Good writing skills
- Good journalism skills
- Research and scripting
- Knowledge of current events
The podcast should maintain a casual tone. Each podcast episode should be 20-30 minutes long.
