Creative Script Writing
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I'm looking for a creative script writer to help me write a Murder Mystery for youtube viewers to solve on their own. The intention is to create two videos per story: The first being the mystery, and the second being a shorter explanation as to whodunnit.
Essentially I'm looking for a format similar to this:
Video 1: The Setup
- The Hook: Start with a cliffhanger—like a sudden scream or a quick glimpse of the crime scene.
- Intro: Jump right into introducing your main characters. Keep it quick but memorable!
- Conflict: Introduce the murder! Describe the crime scene in vivid, but not gruesome, detail.
- Suspects: Line 'em up! Briefly introduce each suspect with a tantalizing secret or alibi.
- Murder Weapon: Reveal it, but add a twist—maybe it's something super unexpected like a poisoned pen!
- Misdirect: Insert a MAJOR plot twist! Make your viewers think they've got it but flip it on them.
Video 2: The Reveal
Recap: Quick recap of the murder and suspects, keep the energy high!
The Investigation: Walk viewers through the clues you left, and which were red herrings.
Big Reveal: Drumroll... unveil the murderer! And the crazy, unexpected method they used.
Resolution: Close any loops, explain how justice was served or maybe it wasn't
The goal is to make the first video about 10 minutes in length, and the second a digestible 2-3.
Your job would be to write the script based off of the location or theme I provide (or if you have any suggestions, I am ALL ears!)
