Country Ambassador Search
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We recently started a company called Cultural Candy with the aim to spread joy and unite cultures by selling candy from around the world. Through candy around the world, we want to open people’s minds to the special differences that exist and help facilitate a better understanding of the world. We are looking for talented people worldwide to represent our company. People who are personable, live in their native country and who are open to explore candy from their country. The people we choose to be an ambassador will represent their culture in engaging ways for our website users, highlighting their favorite candies while drawing out the cultural relevance of them.
For the first job, if we agree upon the terms of employment through a video interview, we request the following:
1. 2-3 minute video of you speaking about your favorite candy/chocolate from your country. Explain why you love this candy and why it’s unique to your country. Please let your unique personality shine through!
2. Write a 1500 or more article about a unique candy from your home country. Write about the cultural/historical relevance, why it's a special candy, personal anecdotes, etc.
Our intention will be to use your submitted work on our website. Also, there is opportunity for continued employment with Cultural Candy as our “Country Ambassador” on our website. In this role, you will be in a great position to highlight both literal and figurative cultural candy from your country. Future projects will be centered around content creation through storytelling, social media posts, and coordinating with local candy makers for sourcing opportunities and with other videographers for our “maker’s series.”
