I am looking for a freelancer who can help me convert the content of my doctoral dissertation into multiple manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
Field of Study: Plasma Physics & Materials Science
Specific Journals: Names of journals will be named upon award, publishers of interest include IEEE, AIP, IOP, Springer, APS, Taylor & Francis, and others.
Number of Manuscripts: 3 to 5 manuscripts.
Between 3000-3500 words, plus 100-150 word abstract.
Timeframe: I have a few months before I want to submit the first article. The subsequent articles can be completed 2-2.5 months after each successive article.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in the field of science, preferably with a PhD or relevant experience in plasma physics, materials science, nuclear engineering, electrical engineering.
- Experience in converting dissertation content into manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals.
- Familiarity with the publishing process and knowledge of relevant journals in the field.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail and ability to adhere to journal guidelines and formatting requirements.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong technical writing, revising, and editing skills.
- Ability to write manuscript both in Microsoft Word and LaTeX, including equation typesetting, figures and tables.
- Native English proficiency preferred.
- Ability to reprocess data (if required by journal editors/reviewers) using Mathematica, MatLab, Origin.
- Ability to make new figures using programs such as Inkscape or similar.
