Content writer for popular educational YouTube channel
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
Needs to hire 4 Freelancers
We are looking for a uniquely talented writer to research unique concepts for educational topics and then produce video scripts for a popular educational YouTube channel - Thoughty2.
Each script should be between 1.5k - 3k words and we are looking for one script monthly.
After an initial trial period, there is potential for a long-term partnership.
Candidate must:
- Have a passion for science, interesting facts and storytelling.
- Be able to write with a strong personality and humour – you will be writing informal education videos. Being able to write in a candid and light-hearted manner to engage an audience is essential.
- Use of AI for research is acceptable but all facts and figures must be externally verified via a trusted source. Use of AI for writing is completely prohibited. We can easily detect content written with the assistance of AI. We want to see the personality and style of you, not an AI.
- Your writing style must strongly adhere to that already established by the brand (please refer to recent examples on the Thoughty2 YouTube channel).
- Be able to research your own interesting (and unique) topics to write about (topics will not be provided but must be pre-approved).
