Content Writer for Canadian Website
Budget: $2 – $8 CAD
We are a long-established scrap car removal company based out of Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and are looking for a freelance content writer to assist in creating various blog posts and articles for our website.
All content is focused on the process and benefits of scrap car removal and should be combined with pertinent local references for Google analytics purposes. Excellent grammar and a good command of the English language is critical, as the content will be viewed primarily by British Columbia and Canadian residents.
Must Haves Include:
A WORKING mobile phone with Whatsapp (we will be speaking on the phone on a regular basis)
Experience with AI content writing
Excellent grammar
Excellent attention to detail
Availability to work 10 hours a week to start, with the potential for up to 20+ hours in future
Basic SEO knowledge
Knowledge or WordPress
Reliability, dependability, and the ability to complete tasks under a deadline
Nice to Haves Include:
Knowledge of Yoast
Basic knowledge of vehicles, the mechanical problems they have, etc.
Flexibility in your schedule
Desire to always be learning
Our website has a blog that add to on a weekly basis. We also serve various locations throughout the province, and each location has neighbourhood pages associated with it.
We require someone who can write content about specific locations, including local references (use Google maps for specific references), and who will include and optimize the use of our selected Keywords.
We will be working directly with you over the phone on a regular basis. An ability to follow direction, ask questions if things are unclear, and complete work in a timely manner is essential. However, you will set your own hours, so you can work when you want, as long as the content is created by the deadline.
Starting Wage: $6.50/hour
Start Date: April 15,2025 or Sooner
