Carl Kmiec

I am a landlord in NW Indiana. I recently evicted a tenant of almost 4 years for failure to pay rent. His name is Carl Kmiec. I rented to him based on the recommendation of a good tenant I had at the time and did not do the proper background checks that I should have. That's on me. It took a court order to get him to leave the unit. He never showed at any of the court hearings and I received a default judgement in my favor for $2139.70. He sys he is going to file bankruptcy and at me to the list so he does not care. I looked Carl up on mycase.IN.gov and found he has 39 past and current legal matters listed dating back to 1992. I am not his first eviction. What I am upset about is his complete lack of financial responsibility and lack of respect for my personal property. I have several pictures of the 25 forty-two gallon trash bags worth of trash left for me to clean up, the cat crap and cat urine soaked items left behind and the disgusting way the bathtub was left. I have too many pictures to try and post here. I have copies of our text messages where he offers to give me some of the money he owes me after was ordered to vacate if I let him stay longer....Otherwise he was just goin to add me to bankruptcy. I told him NO. Carl works at Muller Acura of Merrillville in Indiana as a car salesman. He has not given a forwarding address to me or the courts as required. His place of work is trying to protect him from receiving documentation from me. I want to exposed Carl for who he as and the financial harm he has done to so many people over the years....... Quite frankly, I feel if he believes he can play with the income and livelihood of others and expects them to pay the bills he leaves behind........ He shouldn't expect to get away with it.....I want his potential clients to know what he is.
