Asia Defense and Security Advisor is seeking globally aware, research-driven individuals to join our international strategy team as Geopolitical & International Affairs Analysts.
This is a remote opportunity where selected individuals will work on real-world geopolitical analysis and defense-related research projects. The internship phase involves writing two detailed reports, which will be used for performance evaluation. Exceptional candidates may be offered full-time roles with long-term growth and attractive compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct deep research on geopolitical issues, international conflicts, defense policy, and foreign affairs
Write analytical reports (approx. 2,000 words) based on current global topics
Reports must be original, AI-free, logically structured, and rich in insight
Analyze non-public perspectives and open-source intelligence
Meet deadlines (one week per report) and maintain confidentiality of assignments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, or related fields
Strong writing and research skills
Demonstrated interest in geopolitics, diplomacy, international security, or foreign policy
Self-driven and able to work independently in a remote setup
Prior research experience or internships at think tanks, embassies, or defense institutes is a plus
