We are currently hiring for Alt Text Writer role urgently.

Job Description:

The Alt-Text Reviewer reviews descriptions for images in educational products so that they can be read aloud by a computer screen-reading program. Prior to writing a description, the alt-text reviewer analyses each image in relation to the surrounding text to determine its purpose, the relevant information in the image, and the best approach for describing the image for a listening student The alt-text reviewer conducts a review of descriptions and provides feedback to the writers. Preference will be given to candidates with Science and Mathematics backgrounds with relevant experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Views each image in relation to the surrounding text to determine

context (purpose, relevant information, appropriate book

terminology)

• Reading and comprehending the subject material from textbooks

Analyze academic material to create customized content, adhering to quality standards

• Reviews alt text in the provided template/platform in compliance with job-specific instructions and general alt-text guidelines to ensure correct spelling and grammar, content appropriateness
