Getting my Wikipedia article approved

Hello. I have uploaded a Wikipedia article about someone who was one of the first mayors of the City of West Hollywood as well as chief executive at an important non-profit organization. For over six months, Wikipedia has neither rejected nor accepted this article. I am looking for someone who may be able to help me get the article accepted. I have uploaded other articles with success and believe this one is worthy.
