Editor wanted for Mental Health Magazine

I am looking for an experienced editor to work on our new Mental Health Magazine. The ideal candidate should have expertise in substantive editing and some background knowledge on mental health topics would help. The editor will work with mixed content, including articles and interviews, to ensure high quality and engaging content.

Skills and Experience:
- Substantive editing experience
- Knowledge in mental health topics
- Ability to work with mixed content including articles and interviews
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

We have already released 2 issues of the magazine and we an editor to lead the magazine into the 3rd edition and beyond which is due for release in September. We have a membership base of over 14,000 mental health professionals and we have access to lots of content from the 8 different mental health conferences we run. The editor will be responsible for planning the issue, putting together content ideas, reaching out to our network of professionals for stories and news, creating the stories, proof reading the magazine, ensuring the overarching themes are flowing throughout the magazine.

We have someone else to look after the advertising and sponsorship and can also look for someone to do the design and layout. Previous magazine experience is essential. Ongoing contracting work available to the right applicant as we issue 2 editions each year.
