Create a Wikipedia Page for Our Festivals

Job ID: 39317145

Budget: $250 – $750 NZD

I represent a not-for-profit society based in Wanaka, New Zealand. Since 1998, we have been organizing festivals and music summits, including the Rippon and Tuki Festivals, as well as the biennial YAMI SouNZ Summit. We have accumulated numerous footage, photos, press articles and information over the years, and now we seek professional guidance to help us create and help us publish a comprehensive and engaging Wikipedia page.

The pivotal points to highlight include:
- The rich history of our festivals, especially the changes over time and the impact on our community.
- The significance of the YAMI SouNZ Summit in nurturing careers in the creative industries, featuring seasoned tutors from both New Zealand and the global music scene.

We have many stories and anecdotes, and are also able to summarize the overall community impact that our festivals and summits have had.

Ideal candidates for this project should possess:
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Previous experience in creating Wikipedia pages is highly preferred.
- Understanding of not-for-profit organizations and community events.
- Capability to transform factual data into engaging narrative.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with us in summarizing our impact
- Connection with and knowledge of NZ music.

Please note that our festivals have not been held since 2020, but the YAMI SouNZ Summit continues to take place every second year.
