Hi! I’m Ale Peñate, a Christian author, speaker, and founder of Strong & Free Women — a faith-based community that helps women heal, grow, and rediscover their God-given identity.
I’ve recently completed my first book, “40 Days to Bloom Again,” a women’s devotional born from my own story of restoration, motherhood, and renewed purpose.
Through my work, I combine spirituality, emotional growth, and practical wisdom to help others rise from their hardest seasons and walk in freedom.
I’m now seeking a professional editor and designer who can beautifully bring this devotional to life — with sensitivity to faith, artistic excellence, and high publishing standards.
Here’s what I need:
• Proofreading and copy editing
– Polish grammar, punctuation, and flow without altering my devotional voice.
– Flag any theological or scriptural references that may need citation or clarification.
• Artistic, vibrant interior layout
– Full typesetting for a two-column or creative single-column devotional format.
– Use larger serif fonts for comfortable reading and tasteful headings, pull quotes, and day numbers.
– Incorporate subtle floral or “bloom” motifs and section dividers that reinforce the theme yet keep readability first.
• Ready-to-upload files
– Print-ready PDF with bleed and trim marks for standard 6"×9" paperback.
– Re-flowable Kindle file (ePub or KPF) that meets Amazon KDP guidelines.
– Source files (InDesign or Affinity Publisher) so I can make future tweaks.
