Whimsical Children’s Book Illustrator
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m getting ready to rre-do /publish a picture book aimed at 5- to 8 -year-olds and I want the art to feel playful, imaginative and a little dreamy—think bright colours, soft lines and characters that spark curiosity the moment a page turns. ONe chapter per world continent, each short story includes a family unit and animals.
Here’s what I need help with:
• 7-9 illustrations (exact page count to be finalised together once you see the manuscript).
• A front cover that pops on both print and digital storefronts.
• Simple background or spot art elements where the story calls for them, so the flow stays consistent throughout the book.
All artwork should be delivered print-ready (CMYK, 300 DPI, bleed included) plus layered source files so I can adapt the layout later if needed. I’ll share the manuscript and rough pacing notes as soon as we start, and I’m happy to discuss character sketches first so we’re aligned on style before moving into final colour.
