Stylized Pastel Watercolor Scenes
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m creating a children’s book that leans on atmosphere more than character close-ups, so I need a talented watercolor illustrator who enjoys stylized work. The look I’m after is soft and dreamy—think gentle brushstrokes and a consistent pastel palette throughout every scene.
Scope (initial phase):
• Produce a small set of sample illustrations that capture the main scenery moments in the story (no character design required).
• Maintain a cohesive pastel color scheme across all pieces.
• Deliver high-resolution, print-ready files plus layered originals (PSD or TIFF) so adjustments can be made later.
I’ll share the manuscript and references once we start; for now, please show examples of similar stylized watercolor landscapes you’ve done. If we’re a good fit, we can expand the assignment to cover the full book after this first batch is approved.
