I'm seeking a talented illustrator for a children's book in the genre "Children's Fantasy and Adventure," targeted at ages 6-8.
Key Requirements:
- The story features a human boy as the central character, with mechanical sidekicks and friends, with a soft steampunk feeling. Mysterious, filled with wonder.
- Illustrations should be in a realistic style with license to be fantasy-like.
- Plan to make this into a series of 3-4 books.
Additional Details:
- The book will have 32-40 pages, depending on the budget.
- A key scene includes the boy entering his Grandpa's workshop, filled with dusty inventions, wind-up toys, blueprints, and magical details.
- The boy wears an aviator-style helmet that evolves into a mysterious helmet with special powers during the story. I have photos and a short video of the real helmet I created as reference. While it doesn’t need to be an exact replica, I’d like it interpreted closely.
- I also have a detailed brief available to share with the selected artist.
