Persian Calligraphy Mixed-Media Specialist
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m planning a small series of handcrafted pieces that marry authentic Persian calligraphy with inventive mixed-media techniques. The calligraphic work and the craft element matter to me in equal measure, so I’m looking for someone who can treat the text as art while also building an eye-catching physical composition around it.
Here’s the creative direction:
• Calligraphy: I’m open to Nasta'liq, Shekasteh, Thuluth or any other style you feel best suits the concept. Your ability to lay down elegant, legible script is essential.
• Mixed-media craft: Layered papers, textiles, metallic leaf, textured paints—feel free to combine materials that enhance the script without overpowering it.
Deliverables
1. Three finished, display-ready artworks (roughly A3 size or similar).
2. A brief material/process note for each piece so I can understand how to maintain or reproduce the work later.
3. High-resolution photographs of all stages for my records and possible marketing use.
Acceptance criteria
• Balanced integration of calligraphy and craft—neither element should feel secondary.
• Clean, professional finishing on the reverse and edges.
• All texts checked with me for spelling and meaning before final inking.
If this sounds like your kind of project, please share a couple of relevant portfolio samples and outline the tools or materials you’d like to use.
