Oversized Monochrome Fish

I’m commissioning a large-scale, black-and-white still life painting rendered in a realistic style. The centerpiece will be redfish similar to what’s caught in Louisiana.

I will include a piece of art that I recently saw that I want it to match. I will also include the artist’s website where more photos of the fish can be seen.

I’m picturing a striking, gallery-worthy piece that captures the sheen of the scales, subtle reflections, and depth of shadow without any color cues.

Scope
• Size: oversized canvas; 3.5 tall by 8 feet wide.
• Medium: oil or acrylic on stretched or rolled canvas, whichever you work best with for precise detail.
• Process: initial sketch or digital mock-up for approval, progress photo midway, final high-resolution photo before shipping.
• Deliverable: the finished, signed painting safely packaged for transport, plus a short care/handling note.

What I’m after:
Realistic texture, high contrast, and thoughtful composition.

Timeline:
