Magic-Tech Nations Worldbuilding

Job ID: 40290702

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I’ve sketched the broad idea for a new fantasy-sci-fi setting and now need it transformed into a living, breathing world. The heart of the brief is to design an integrated magic-and-technology system, then anchor it to a set of continents and countries that feel authentic, with their own cultures and intertwined histories.

Magic & Technology
• Craft a coherent rule set that explains how arcane energy and advanced tech coexist or clash.
• Define limitations, costs, and social consequences so the system drives believable conflict and innovation.

Continents & Countries
• Map out the major landmasses (names, climates, key biomes).
• For each country: summarise origin myths, governing structure, key cultural traits, economic strengths, and notable historical events that shaped current politics.

Interconnection
Show how the magical-technological paradigm influences trade routes, warfare, religion, and everyday life across borders. I want readers to sense why one nation forbids techno-arcane devices while its neighbour thrives on them.

Deliverables
1. 6–8 page world Bible (Word or Google Doc) covering the above.
2. A labelled continental map (hand-drawn or digital) sufficient for orientation—no need for final-art polish.
3. Short timeline of pivotal events tying the nations together.

Acceptance criteria: systems must be internally consistent; every country must have at least two concrete hooks (e.g., a legendary resource, a political scandal) ripe for storytelling.
