Jewish Children’s Book Illustrations

I’m finishing a warm, Jewish–themed picture book and now need a series of simple illustrations that feel fresh and inviting. Think clean line work over gentle watercolor washes; I want the art to look hand–painted without becoming overly detailed or realistic. All of the scenes feature human characters—a baby, parents, and grandparents—engaging in everyday family moments and holiday traditions, so an ability to convey expression and inter-generational warmth is essential.

I’m working within a firm budget cap of $600, so please size your bid and any milestone suggestions with that limit in mind. Final artwork should arrive as high-resolution RGB files (layered PSD or transparent-background PNG), ready for both print and e-book layout. If you have a portfolio that shows similar watercolor-styled children’s pieces, I’d love to see it alongside your proposal.
