Ink & Wash Poem Illustrations
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am putting the finishing touches on a collection of 30 original poems and need one illustration for each. Every piece will start as an ink-and-wash drawing, then gain subtle watercolor highlights—always the same three hues (red, blue, yellow) so the whole book shares a unified palette.
The overall feeling I’m after is light and positive. Some poems call for quiet landscapes or symbolic objects, others for simple character moments; I’ll supply a short brief for each poem so you know what to feature.
Deliverables
• 30 print-ready illustrations, all the same trim size and orientation I’ll share with you
• Ink-and-wash base with watercolor accents only in red, blue, and yellow
• High-resolution files (minimum 300 dpi) suitable for offset printing, supplied as layered PSD or TIFF plus a flattened RGB/CMYK version
Once the first illustration is approved we can settle into a rhythm—ideally two to three pieces per week—until the set is complete.
