Educational Chola-Era Comic Creation
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m developing a children’s comic set in the age of the Chola kings and need a visual storyteller who can blend the ornate flair of traditional Indian art with the punch and clarity of modern comic panels. The goal is to make history fun: colourful pages that quietly teach young readers about Chola culture, daily life, and innovation while keeping them turning the pages.
You will:
– Design a cast of original characters in historically accurate attire
– Pencil, ink, colour, and letter each page in a consistent mixed-style aesthetic
– Deliver print-ready CMYK PDFs plus layered source files (PSD or AI) at 300 DPI
Acceptance criteria:
• Historical details—architecture, clothing —verified for accuracy
• Dialogue balloons left editable for last-minute tweaks
• Colours embedded with proper profiles and no bleed issues
If you have a portfolio that shows work for children or any period pieces, share it along with your estimated turnaround per page and your preferred revision workflow. I look forward to bringing the splendour of the Chola dynasty to life together.
I will work on a per-page milestone basis. The reason is not because I want to work with multiple people, but because I want measurable outcomes with continuous improvement where applicable.
