Character design for a sci-fi/horror visual novel
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am currently looking for a character designer to assist with giving a face to the main antagonist for a sci-fi/horror visual novel that myself and some friends are working on.
The setting is very grounded but we are looking to cultivate a very dream-like, comforting, but otherworldly feel reminiscent of 90s dating sims for the main antagonist, whom the player will be interacting with quite frequently.
(think Tokimeki Memorial for PC-Engine)
One of the biggest themes in this project is contrast. We want the main antagonist to feel safe and comforting compared to the rougher, more stressful nature of the rest of the game.
We have her character very much cemented, however we need a starting point for her visuals. Ultimately we're looking to translate a 2D design into 3D for the finished project.
