I am a practicing artist with multiple completed projects ready for publication, exhibition, and competition entry. I also want to grow my direct marketing list for art buyers (via email and social media), in order to make consistent art sales. Iām seeking a self-guided, articulate, strategic communicator to help with researching opportunities, writing and submitting strong materials, and pitching my work to magazines, galleries, and competitions both nationally and internationally.

-Research and compile appropriate opportunities for:
Art & photography competitions (global)
Magazine features, blogs, and editorial publications
Gallery reviews, exhibitions, and curators looking for new artists
- Prepare and submit:
Competition applications
Feature pitches to art magazines, podcasts, and blogs
Gallery outreach emails with tailored messaging
-Write and refine:
Press releases
Pitch emails/letters
Artist statements & bios as needed
-Track all submissions and responses in an organized spreadsheet.
Candidate Requirements:
Strong written English (professional, clear, thoughtful)
Proven experience with editorial pitches, PR, or creative submissions
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good research skills and eye for audience + editorial fit
Reliable communication and regular updates
When you apply, please do not use AI. I want to hear your own thoughts in your own words.
