I need a usb midi channel switching device for a midi piano keyboad
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I purchased a portable piano that splits in half for portability as a backup keyboard and to travel with, I use my ipad for the piano sounds and a Korg Nano Kontrol to change the control settings on my ipad.
My issue is the split keyboard usb midi channel is set to midi channel 16 and cannot be changed to midi channel 1 so that means I would have to reprogram my ipad and Korg Nano Kontrol and change everything to midi channel 16.
My question is can you program a device that can change usb channel 16 to usb channel 1?
I would need a usb B cable that plugs into the back of the piano going to a usb A into a usb switch.
It would be a usb b to usb a adapter device changing midi channel 16 to midi channel 1.
