arduino Alarm

Hi i some code that i have witten and also stippets of other code i have copied. My code is arming and disarming but the issue is i'm unable to tell the code to not arm if a zone is opened. The code needs to tell the alarm system to check to see if a zone is opened and prompt and say which zone needs to be closed. After the zones are closed the alarm system will be begin arming. The card i'm using is espressif esp32 dev module and i'm working in esphome within home assistant.
