Water Tank Level Management System
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I'm looking for a compact pump control system for managing my water tank levels and status alerts.
Key Features:
1. The system should activate the pump to refill the tank when the level drops below ¾.
2. The pump should automatically stop when the tank is full.
3. There should be an audible alert: a one-second beep every 3 minutes when the tank level is between ¾ and ¼.
4. A more frequent beep: a one-second sound every 5 seconds when the tank level drops below ¼.
Deliverables:
- Full schematic and PCB Gerber files
- Source code and hex file if a microcontroller is used.
- Preferably using an 8 bit PIC low pin count variant, or an Arduino programmable MCU, most preferably ATmega32P.
Sound Requirement: A beeping sound level as loud as the one on an office UPS.
Design Considerations:
- Cost-effective components should be prioritized for the control system.
- The system is powered by a battery.
- The PCB should be designed for direct mounting.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in PCB design and microcontroller programming
- Experience in designing cost-effective control systems
- Ability to create audible alerts using a control system
- Experience with 8 bit PIC or Arduino programmable MCUs.
Include a wireless monitoring feature for remote tank level status updates. Include a wireless monitoring feature using Bluetooth for remote tank level status updates. Include a mobile app interface for remote tank level status updates.
