Upload Arduino sketches from PC->esp32-s2 to Arduino pro mini
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need an ESP32-S2 to communicate with an Arduino via serial, as well as upload sketches to the Arduino. (replicate the functionality of FTDI or similar USB-Serial chips)
Challenges:
ESP32-S2 must connect to the PC using native USB (115200)
ESP32-S2 must connect to the Arduino using UART (115200)
Must use ESPTinyUSB library (we will provide)
I have a proof of concept arduino sketch that we can share. Serial communication works (so, so) but the sketch update fails.
Deliverables:
The sketch for the ESP32 and accompanying Pro Mini (or similar) arduino sketch. In my testing we used a Pro Mini from Sparkfun and ESP32-S2 from esspresif. This is only one part of the project but we want to expand it once we have this part working, so I would be looking to continue a working relationship as the project matures.
