Update ESP32 Storage Method

Job ID: 39656672

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I'm looking for an experienced developer to help resolve an issue with my ESP32 project. Currently, we are using EEPROM to save the source code, but the updated Arduino IDE no longer supports this feature, causing compilation issues. To address this, I need to update the firmware to utilize SPIFFS (SPI Flash File System) for data storage.

Key Requirements:
- Transition from EEPROM to SPIFFS for storing the source code on ESP32.
- Ensure compatibility with the latest Arduino IDE.
- Maintain the ability to read/write data periodically without affecting performance.
- Thorough testing to confirm the new storage method works seamlessly.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience with ESP32 development and Arduino IDE.
- Proficiency in implementing SPIFFS for data storage.
- Familiarity with firmware updates and troubleshooting compilation issues.
- Ability to adapt to evolving software environments and ensure system stability.

If you have the expertise to help modernize our storage solution and keep our project running smoothly, I would love to hear from you!
