Troubleshoot Arduino IDE ESP8266 Upload Issue on MacOS M1
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I'm having trouble programming my ESP8266 boards via Arduino IDE on my MacBook Pro with M1 chip and MacOS 15.0.1. The error message I'm encountering is: "[exec: "python": executable file not found in $PATH]". While my programs upload successfully on older Mac versions, this issue is preventing me from uploading any sketches now.
I suspect it might be a Python version incompatibility, but I'm not entirely sure. I haven't installed a different version of Python yet, and I'm currently using ESP Core version 2.5.0. I also can't recall if I've made any modifications to the default Arduino IDE settings or configurations.
I need an expert who can help me troubleshoot this issue.
