Smart Ring with GPS and Gesture Control

Job ID: 39159301

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I am looking for an experienced embedded systems engineer or wearable device developer to help me build and prototype a smart ring with GPS tracking, emergency SOS alert, and Bluetooth touch gesture control. The project involves PCB design (flexible PCB), firmware development, and hardware integration to create a fully functional prototype.

The smart ring will have a capacitive touch button that, when pressed for a few seconds, activates an SOS alert.
The ring will fetch the user’s real-time location via a u-blox GPS module (ZOE-M8B-0).
The ESP32-PICO-D4 will handle processing and transmit the GPS coordinates to a paired smartphone via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi.
The smartphone will then send an SOS message with the location to emergency contacts.
A vibration motor will provide haptic feedback to confirm that the alert has been successfully sent.
The device will be power-efficient, with GPS activating only during an SOS event.
The smart ring should detect touch gestures (swipe up/down, left/right, tap) using a capacitive touch sensor or touch slider.
The ESP32 will process these gestures and send commands via Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) to the paired smartphone.
This will allow the user to scroll Instagram, browse webpages, switch songs, accept/reject calls, or control their phone hands-free by simply swiping or tapping on the ring.
So Basically I want a smart ring prototype which is used both as an emergency sos alert when touched and holded for 3 seconds or so and as a scrolling device for songs attending calls like that and I want this ring to be connected to the mobile even when there are other multiple devices connected and also attach an feedback vibrator to the ring so that when the sos is send successfully it will give the feedback as fibration to the user or it maybe used for detection of messages or sms when connected in mobile.
