Smart Garden - Arduino FSM

I have designed and am in the process of building an autonomous aeroponic system. I am have all of the system components ready to test but would like to test the software in parallel. I am currently planning on coding a Finite State Machine on a Particle Photon (similar to Arduino, C++ i think..). I have a diagram of the FSM done and need to hire someone to work through the branches as build and tune in the hardware. Looking for someone I can work with without having to be in constant contact with. Due to my busy schedule i might be only able to test work and communicate back and forth a few times a week.
