Raspberry Pi Reflexometer Development

Job ID: 39111709

Budget: €30 – €250 EUR

I am looking for an experienced developer to create a reflexometer using Raspberry Pi. The project should meet the following specifications:

Number of Reflex Buttons: The reflexometer should have at least 6-9 buttons that can be pressed to measure reflexes. These buttons should be connected to the Raspberry Pi in a way that allows for precise timing and response detection.

Backlight: The buttons should feature backlighting to indicate their active state. This should be adjustable or customizable based on the reflex test settings.

LCD Display: The device should include an LCD screen (preferably a 16x2 or 20x4 character display) to show menu options and different modes of operation. The display should be clearly readable and should be able to indicate important information about the test or reflex response time.

Menu System: The LCD screen should display a menu interface that allows the user to choose different test modes (e.g., simple reflex test, timed reflex test, etc.). The menu should be navigable via buttons or a touchscreen, depending on what is most feasible with the hardware.

Various Operating Modes: The reflexometer should have at least two or three modes of operation, such as:
A basic reflex test (measuring reaction time)
A timed test (where the user has to press buttons within a time window)
A mode for displaying statistics or results after the test is completed

Programming: The device should be programmed using Python or any other appropriate language compatible with Raspberry Pi. The code should be clean, modular, and well-documented.

Additional Requirements:

The system should be user-friendly, with clear instructions on how to use it.
It should be built in a way that allows for easy future adjustments or improvements.
Ideally, the freelancer should be familiar with hardware interfacing (GPIO, LEDs, etc.) on Raspberry Pi.

If you have experience in creating similar projects or working with Raspberry Pi, please share your portfolio or relevant experience. We can discuss the budget and timeline upon review of your proposal.
